Dr. H.W. Brock, the founder and editor-in-chief of MiniMax and The MiniMax Review, has specialized in applying the modern "Economics of Uncertainty" to forecasting and risk assessment in the international economy and its asset markets. Holder of five academic degrees, Brock earned his B.A., M.B.A., and M.S. (in mathematics) from Harvard University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Princeton University (mathematical economics and political philosophy). His speaking engagements have included audiences as diverse as those of CFA conferences, the World Economic Forum in Davos, family office off-sites, FPA and NAPFA meetings, conferences for alternative investments, and institutional investor forums. Dr. H.W. Brock is celebrated for making complex ideas understandable and even fun. He has contributed numerous essays to professional publications as well as to the Op-Ed pages of the New York Times and the International Herald Tribune.
