Via our special advanced training program you will be introduced to your future tasks as a specialist in fire detection and extinguishing technology. For this varied, interesting and challenging job we are looking for new, motivated colleagues who can prove completed professional training as a systems-, construction-, operation- or industrial electrician, as an electrical- or remote detection systems fitter or electrical tradesperson, and who are looking for a secure job with potential for development.

The Minimax specialist in fire detection and extinguishing technology will install fire detection systems and extinguishing system controls for all types of fire protection systems - from water, via foam, up to complex gas extinguishing systems. The area of responsibility will also include explaining to the customer how to work with the different systems. Besides installation, maintenance, repair, system extension and -modification and the resolution of error messages are part of the range of responsibilities of a Minimax specialist in fire detection and extinguishing technology.

Advanced training program

The Minimax specialist advanced training program lasts four months and consists of four blocks with different emphases. The one-week training blocks are interspersed with practice periods of several weeks in order to allow you the most comprehensive and direct insights into your future area of responsibilities.

Upon successful completion of the program you will work at Minimax in system integration or the service department. Depending on the operations site and area of responsibilities you will work with modern accessories, for example SmartPhone, Notebook or official vehicle, in a team or on your own on site directly at the customer’s.

The Job

You will be with our customers in various industries on site and be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection systems and programming of the fire detection control panel. In coordination with your foreman fitter you will coordinate activities with customers, project managers and external trades.
