April 21, 2022 - About Minimax

Minimax Recycling Specialists at Recycling Technik, Dortmund, June 22 and 23, 2022.

This year, the Minimax fire protection experts will present a true sensation to the recycling industry: innovative fire fighting with highly efficient water mist from a safe distance.

The Minimax MXOne high-performance firefightiing turbine represents a new generation of fire fighting. It enables the highly precise, targeted use of water mist from a safe and great distance. With the adjustable jet pipe, the turbine reaches long discharge ranges even with the addition of foam agent. In contrast to classic monitors with their focused jets, the turbine's gentle water application prevents burning material from being dispersed and possibly leading to additional fire spread. The ideal fire protection for high halls and external stockpiles.

Also on board is the multiple award-winning new development of the Clunid FMZ6000 fire detection and suppression control panel. High levels of operating safety and simple operation characterize the unique Clunid control panel generation. The application possibilities are almost limitless. From the standardized and standard-conformant control of complex multi-zone extinguishing systems to the freely programmable situational fire control system, anything is possible. With this the Clunid FMZ6000 offers a technology with a high degree of flexibility which is ahead of its time.

The modular UniVario YMX5000 detection system consists of a control unit with three ports and detached sensor units for spark and rapid flame detection. The spark detectors are mainly used in gas and dust explosion hazardous areas in industrial environments, e.g. in pneumatic or mechanical conveying units. The system is ideally suited for confined installation conditions in harsh, industrial environments. Especially for the application area of spark detection, the UniVario YMX5000 system can also be used in extreme temperature ranges from -40°C to 105°C.

In addition, of course, we will again show the early fire detection via IR cameras. Let us surprise you with what Minimax has to offer to the recycling industry!
